Open a Savings Account with a minimum deposit of $5.00. Each member account is federally insured to at least $250,000.00, National Credit Union Administration, a U.S. Government Agency.. Which savings account is best for you?

Share Draft (Checking) Accounts:

If you are currently paying high monthly fees, per check charges and high overdraft fees, now is the time to switch to a credit union Checking Account!

In the past, members were permitted to retain their checking funds in their savings account and the credit union would automatically transfer those funds to cover checks/share drafts.  However, beginning February 1, 2016, new compliance regulations will go into effect. Share draft/Checking accounts will only be permitted 6 automatic transfers from savings per month.  You can still come into either office or any shared branching location, call us or go to the ATM to transfer.  These transfers are not counted as automatic transfers.  Virtual Branch transfersare considered automatic, so you can only do 6 per month.

When an account has over 6 automatic transfers, the account will be charged a $30 overdraft fee. We highly recommend that when depositing funds into your account, you make the deposit directly into your share draft/checking account in order to avoid fees. We apologize for any inconvenience.  Media Members FCU strives to maintain the highest level of customer service while complying with the latest regulations. Please call us at 610-292-6762 or 215-854-4460 if you have any questions.
